The 9th and sadly last Annual Motherwell Charity dinner was organised by Hugh Kanpp, Trustee, on the 26th February. An excellent evening was had by the 200 people who attended and helped raise a further £8,000 for the fund.
These annual dinners ahve raised nearly £85,000 for the fund and have been hugely successful and memorable evenings in aid of the funds set up in memory of Jimmy Knapp.
The other Trustees are extremely grateful to Hugh and his family for the work they have dine towards supporting research, the hospice movement and the comforting of cancer sufferers and their families.
It is expected that there will be a London fundraising dinenr to be held at the TUC in Congress House. Watch this space for further details.
